Eating for health is equivalent with wellness. Although most of us have heard about eating low fat for the sake of our heart we do not necessarily take into account that an excess of the wrong fats can also affect our liver negatively. It is not just about alcohol anymore. A high content of animal fats can cause what is called non alcoholic fatty liver disease which may act similar to liver disease. We have only one liver and without it we can not survive let alone live in a state of wellness. There are natural foods such as certain spices which can aid in maintaining a healthy liver.
